Nickel Daylilies

Welcome! This site contains some of the Daylilies I am expecting to receive this year. Many of my plants this year will be coming from Gulfhaven Gardens in Mississippi. Gulfhaven Gardens is owned and operated by Kathy and Peter Homsy who have graciously allowed the use of their Daylily images. Email barr@isys.ca Daylilies from the U.S. Some people are fortunate living close to the Canadian U.S. border and can clear customs fairly quickly by bringing the plants into Canada personally. Others of us who are not fortunate enough to live near the Border must rely on the mail system. Delivery by mail could take up to three weeks, and when the plants are received will be dried out and very disappointing. However I have found that recovery is quite rapid when the plants are soaked in a weak solution of Miracle Gro and water for about three days. I then pot my plants and wait six or seven weeks before planting in the garden.
